Sometimes even when you have everything you mentioned, the gas isn't being drawn in. I would try getting access to the carb air horn and squirt in some gas. If that gets it to fire, your choke is not working properly. You might also have some blockage in the carb itself.........get some spray carb cleaner. Personally, if it fired after squirting in some gas but was still hard to start, I would pull the carb and clean it. Use a paper clip to clean out the orifices.

We were in a scuffle for a few minutes when my friends got out of the car to break it up, after the fight was broke up i got back in the car along with two of my friends and one was still out talking to the two guys that were walking down the street. we were waiting for our friends to get back in the car so we could leave, when the two men swung on my other friend that was outside they continued hitting him and wound up hurting him pretty bad, then i looked back and seen what was happenng so i got out and started running toward them to stop it and when i got there i hurt the two men and hurt them so they could not hurt any one else that was there. Then my friends got back nto the car and i took off running into the desert. Then i seen headlights coming toward me so i continued to run thinking they were coming back for revenge, it wound up being the police and they arrested me for felony assault. The two en i was fighting wound up being severely injured and were hospitlized for couple hours but got out that same night and were fine. I am wondering what the maximum punishment could be and if there is a lawyer that can help me.

1992 Dodge Dakota missing when you kick it down?

I have a 1992 Dodge Dakota with a 318 motor in it. Sometimes, when you go to kick it down, it'll start to really miss and spit and spatter, and wont go over 3,000 rpms because it will hesitate so bad. I have replaced the spark plugs twice, the wires, and the coil just above the power steering pump. It gets really annoying when you try to pass someone, and you have to keep the rpms below 3,000. When you kick it into 3rd gear, it'll actually slow down because it misses so bad. I was thinking it might be the fuel pump, but i dont want to spend $180 for nothing. If you have any ideas, please let me know. Thanks.

Mac Mini (mid 2007) Turned Off, Then Odd Ticking?

alright i have a 43cc engine it does have a key but somone lost it then gave me the scootter keyless. so to start the enginge you must pull the start then give alittle throatle and it starts. one day it was on and when my friend hopped on he gave gas it dyed now that i got it at home i cleaned out the choak and i even replaced it with a differnt one and it still doesnt start the spark plug is fine bc i took it off anouther scooter and test to see if both had blue sparks and they did. so i haave no idea i spray alittle gasoline in the spark plug holder then put spark plug back it starts for like 2 secs and dyes can anyone help me out

The lond pop is referred to as a backfire. That means you have fuel and spark, just not at the right place at the right time. It could be the spark plugs. Try taking one spark plug wire off and starting it. Do this on each spark plug one at a time and if there is one wire that you take off and it doesn't make a difference then thats the one with the problem. So it could be the Spark plug, The spark plug wire or even the distributor contact. Make sure to put the right wire back on the right spark plug. The wires should make a pop noise when they come off and a snap noise when they go back on and they should be firm fitting.

1999 Mazda Millenia Fuel Problems?

My car was giving me trouble when i bought it, when i drove it and slowed down to a stop and let it idle it would go dead. It did this for a while and the check engine light started flashing. I got someone to run a computer check on it and said my engine was mis-firing. Looked at everything on my engine and noticed the air intake hose was held together by electrical tape. I replaced it, and cranked it up and it ran fine for a little bit. Drove it down the road into a drive-way and came to a complete stop and it didn't die or idle low or anything, then all of the sudden when i hit the accelerator and the car died. So I tried to crank it and it wouldn't start, it would turn over just fine but nothing else. Took the spark plugs out and they were corroded real bad so i sanded them. Then the car would crank, but it would die if you let off the gas. So i had to get my car pulled home, changed the spark plugs and now it cranks fine, but i'm worried there is something else wrong with it. I would hate to drive it down the road and it all happen again. Any ideas if there could be anything else wrong with it?

Is there a way to repair my ac adapter?

Input is 120v, Output is 9v. Someone was running across the room and snapped the cord in half. I could probably strip the plastic insulation and twist the wires back together. It snapped close to where the "black box" is. The black box part plugs directly into the wall. I was trying to strip the plastic part off, when I saw a spark when I exposed the wires. So I'm assuming there is still a charge inside the "black box". So, I left it alone. Is this not a safe thing to do? Should I assume there is still a lot of electricity inside of it? 12:00 a.m. I am the designated driver and I drop the last person off. I finish and I am heading home. I approach a hill where I see blue lights everywhere, so I am extra alert. I make a complete stop while driving to a stop sign and look both ways cautious of the police patrolling. I turn right after I complete the full stop behind the limit line. Then I notice the blue lights heading my way and an officer stops me. He tells me I kind of stopped but it was not complete. Dropped kerb is denying us parking?

There is a small gated garage backing out into our cud de sac. The owner of it lives in the street before ours, the garage is at the far end of his back garden facing onto our street. They suddenly started blocking off the area in front of it with bollards and fencing or parked their car in front of it to stop us parking there and 2 days later had a dropped kerb installed and as far as we know without permission. I have lived here for 7 years and their garage or shed has only ever been used for storage and a car has never been parked in it. At the front of his home one street down he has a driveway where he can park his car and does not need to park it in our residents parking. Basically it seems he can instal a dropped kerb and park his car in front of it for as long and as often as he wants and when he moves his car we are at risk of having our cars ticketed or towed for blocking his access if we park there. Whenever he has moved items in and out of this garage/storage area his gates open up over the pavement and block pedestrians from walking on it. Our street is a small cul de sac with 55 residents and has around 20 parking bays, three of the parking bays are designated for disabled drivers and as far as we have been told all parking is on a first come first served basis yet he can claim this space as his own whenever he feels like it and park there as often and for as long as he likes because he is not going to get himself ticketed. If he decided to rent his garage out to generate income would that be accepted? Do we as residents have any rights here?

1981 VW vanagon turns over but gives no effort to start. whats the problem?

Ive been working on this vanagon for about 3 months now. When i parked it, it was running nicely. it started right up after approximately 4 revolutions of the motor. idled fine. its been 2 months since i started it up and when i turned the motor over it will not even attempt to run. Drove my car through what didn't look like that deep of a puddle apparently it was, my car died almost all the way through, it's an 01 chrysler sebring. That water wasn't that deep possibly to the bottom of my door? I was a dumb *** and tried to restart it in the water. I pushed it out onto dry ground. Tried to crank it and it sounded like it was trying to fire, making that initial turning over noise. I pulled the air filter ( not the spark plugs yet seeing how i had no tools at the moment). Eventually it just started tapping really fast when i tried to crank it, sounded more electrical plus the lights flashed in the car everytime the tapping noise occured. If i let it dry out a bit longer and hook some jumper cables up to it is it savable without anymore work? I really doubt it is bad spark plugs. Usually when there is a bad spark plug you will get an engine misfire which will set a code. You would also notice other problems, like your engine shaking and your check engine light on. It is possible that your spark plugs caused this but not likely. It is probably more like a fuel system problem...like maybe your car isn't getting enough fuel because of a clogged fuel filter or bad fuel pump. There are a lot of other things that could be the cause too.

honestly you wont find good sq midbass for that cheap. car audio is really defined by "you get what you pay for" if you want great sound quality you really should look into custom door panels with 10'' midbass and a set of 4'' components in there with them, and also doing your kicks like you said. one key thing is to not switch up brands/models of speakers because it can throw the sound off. key is doing the fronts to where they sound good and doing a mirrored image of what you did in the front, but in the rear. my suggestion would be to look at pioneer's new phase 4 line (i think its phase 4? or something dumb like that). its pretty pricey but well worth it. pioneer decks are also the best ive come across and ive had every brand from jvc to clarion to alpine to kenwood to you name it ive had it. seriously check out pioneer's new line tho its good ****. if you have the money tho hands down go with focal tho thats where true sq is at.

I've met this person twice in my lifetime. I remember when my step mom had passed me and her had talked on the phone for quite a while. I got sand in my camera, and now it won't work?

Lawn mower won't start?

I have a 6.5 hp push mower that has always run perfectly but now it suddenly won't start. I've removed and thoroughly cleaned the carb and jets, I've replaced the spark plug and checked for a spark, I've cleaned the gas tank and it still won't start. Noisy lifters after multiple ending head removals can cause clogged oil pump?

At one point on my 2000 Chev Monte Carlo, we discovered a cross threaded spark plug. Mechanic removed enging head to remove, prep hole for net plug hole. Then my lifters were noisy life never before. Take it back, the put new head on, and 6 lifters on the one side. Those lifters were installed 2 days after the head was removed because they had gotten the wrong ones. They had to restart the oil soak time. After thats ordeal was done, it was still noisy. I go back, and get another new head, and 12 new lifters (6 ea. side). That's 3 days of repais, and pick the car up and it's still noisy! Going into the engine that many times, clog the oil pump filter? Can that be why oil is not getting up to the top as how it sounds? If so, they should take care of that on their expense I would hope. Seemed to happen after they had vehicle 5 days from not having the right parts, etc. Thanks in advance! MR

This is sparked by a incident that happened today, (I posted about it, and it sparked this massive thought, bare with me guys). So I was walking with a friend and this group of absolute kids starting hurling abuse at us, We'd done nothing to them at all, From a physical stand point we had atleast 50 pounds and a good 1-2ft on the biggest on there, (I don't Digress It's relevent, trust) They just didn't care, and carried on being lippy and saying things like "Come on then" "Fight me you Pussy" , These are random kids, We walked passed but were left feeling like we'd lost, What happened to kids, at the age of the 12? I was playing with toys and building dens, I'm only 16 now granted, But even I can see the detremency of kids these days, It's annoying becuase we alll get hated, Yeah I don't disagree with being reckless, going to partys, yes I'll get drunk and I'll enjoy my life, But it's in houses - Regardless I'm a hypocrit I guess, I don't get what these kids are doing, How badly would I be punished for retaliating verbally, or if needs be phyically? I would never do that, 5 years of karate actaully taught me some sort of disapline - The amount I have digressed on this question - Hope you enjoyed my life story. Anyway, yeah, Whats with kids thinkng they own the world? It's really annoyed - (Yeah, I'm still a kid, I know)

Hello all, I found out that my Ex-girlfriend and I are going to be in the same place at the same time at an event coming up. We didn’t have a bad break up, and we still exchange emails from time to time, but nothing overly friendly. We haven’t seen each other since we split up about 8 months ago. I know she is hanging out/dating a guy who may or may not be with her at this event. I’ve lost about 25lbs of fat and put on a good deal of muscle since the last time she saw me, so I look different now. I’m just wondering how to act if we end up running into one another. What to cook while camping?

My husband and I are going camping in a couple of weeks with a group of about 10. Everyone knows that I am a good cook (in my own kitchen). My AEG power drill seems to spark excessively at high RPM. Why does it do this and how can i fix it?

Do religions tend to simplify life, making this life "boring"?

Known many Christians and other religious folks from my time, ask them what they think about life and maybe 1 out of 5, some idiot will respond saying this life is boring, our five senses are just so "normal" and unexciting. When you learn about the uniqueness of life and how life is a spark of chance, out of the possibility from google to infinite, as I grow older every little thing from turning the light on from a switch to how miles and miles of nerves cooperate together in your brain just by reading this, our world really amazes me. There is so much to discover about life itself and the place we live in, yet dumb responses as "life is so regular and boring" come out of the mouths of fully grown adults, more than halfway into their life cycle. Its very scary that we still live in a world like this. Doesn't religion tend the simplify the complexity of life, and if so, why do people continue to live this 15th century lifestyle when we can do so much better, discover so much more, reach the point of science and technology to finally live the lives of these "Gods" we are so deluded towards?
