What can be the maximum punishment for my actions?

On June 10, myself and 3 friends went out to a bar to drink and have a good time, we all got pretty intoxicated, except our friend who was our designated driver. The bar closed and we decided to leave, we were on our way home and we seen two guys walkng down the road, i heard them say something and thought it was to me, so i told my friends and when the ca stopped at a stop sign i got out and started walking toward them and my friends stayed in the car, when i got up to them words were said and i swung on them. We were in a scuffle for a few minutes when my friends got out of the car to break it up, after the fight was broke up i got back in the car along with two of my friends and one was still out talking to the two guys that were walking down the street. we were waiting for our friends to get back in the car so we could leave, when the two men swung on my other friend that was outside they continued hitting him and wound up hurting him pretty bad, then i looked back and seen what was happenng so i got out and started running toward them to stop it and when i got there i hurt the two men and hurt them so they could not hurt any one else that was there. Then my friends got back nto the car and i took off running into the desert. Then i seen headlights coming toward me so i continued to run thinking they were coming back for revenge, it wound up being the police and they arrested me for felony assault. The two en i was fighting wound up being severely injured and were hospitlized for couple hours but got out that same night and were fine. I am wondering what the maximum punishment could be and if there is a lawyer that can help me.
