Confused about "Pattern Day Trader"?

I know to be a pattern day trader you must do 4 or more trades within 5 days and then will need to put equal to or more than $25,000 into the account. But my question is: will I be designated a pattern day trader if I do the 4 or more trades on a NON margin account?
