Tough question: What do we owe the elderly as they verge between competant and incompetant?

Here in Ohio our welfare dept. is called Jobs and Family Services, encompassing the state employment office, wellfare, childrens sevices, child support, and adult protective services. The latter is necessary now because elder abuse is on the rise and rivals child abuse for frequency of occurance and brutality. So call your local wellfare agency and see if they also have an adult protective services department.
